Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) - more common than we think.
Thought I would share this as POTS is much more common than I would ever of thought. We have had several patients show benefits from IV hydration and as Katie Ledecky says here part of the key to managing the condition is fluids.
Directly from the article, the main piece I wanted to point out was this "The best way to manage POTS also varies, but it often includes lifestyle modifications, such as increased salt and fluid intake."
